Extra big stuff goes into cardboard box. Good idea to reinforce bottom with double layer of duct tape. Also reinforce the middle and make a recloseable top. This monster weighs quite a bit and will hold together for many more shows than plain cardboard.

Poor abused trailer. Notice ramp to save my back. Load heavy stuff in front and lower, light stuff back and higher. I made a shelf to hold light panels above load and installed a sunroof for visibility and ventilation.

Monster box goes onto cheap furniture mover. Also good for keeping monster box off the damp grass. Notice ramp is a  wheelchair ramp which folds (of course).

Moving blankets from www.uline.com can be cut and sewn to fit larger works, print bins, poles, or, in this case, my Hollywood chair.

Detail of weights which fit neatly against an otherwise dead corner in the trailer. Velcro strapping (again) screwed to the side of the trailer. I load the weights (2-inch iron bars) and lock them in place with the Velcro straps.

Coming right along, notice handles on some containers which help lift over curbs and such things. Handles made of old dog leashes and luggage straps hold containers close.
